PREVENTION
At work of brake shoes the brake dust which contains asbestos is formed, unhealthy therefore when cleaning brake shoes do not use the compressed air and do not inhale a dust.
For cleaning of brake mechanisms use only a special cleaner of brakes.

In addition to the established intervals it is necessary to check brakes at each removal of a wheel or at suspicion on existence of defects.
The main signs of malfunctions of brakes are:
– car withdrawal in one party at intensive braking;
– the increased brake way;
– a strong squealing sound when braking;
– leakages of brake liquid, usually on an internal part of the tire or a wheel.
Brake shoes of disk brakes have the built-in indicators of wear which at limiting wear of brake shoes publish a squealing or extraneous (scratching) sound when braking. In this case immediately replace brake shoes, the brake disk otherwise will be damaged.
