The air filter is located in the case on the left side of a motor compartment on release cars till 2001 or from above over the engine on cars, since 2001.

Release spring clips and uncover the air filter (fig. 2.21, 2.22) .

Note an arrangement and remove the air filter.

Examine an external surface of the air filter. If it dirty, replace the filter. If on it there is an insignificant raid of a dust, blow the filter the compressed air from the inside outside and reuse the air filter. As the air filter is made of paper, it cannot be washed out. If cleaning by the compressed air did not give positive results, replace the filter.

PREVENTION Never maintain the car without the air filter as getting to cylinders together with air the dust will result in the accelerated wear of the engine.

Wipe an internal surface of the case and a cover of the air filter.

Establish the air filter.

Establish a cover of the air filter and fix it spring clips.
