Replacement of the storage battery make as follows.

Switch off ignition.

On models since 2001 of release remove a cowl.

Disconnect from the storage battery at first a "minus" wire, and then "plusovy".

Turn out 2 nuts, lift a cross-section clip and remove the storage battery from the car.

Check a condition of a basic arm of the storage battery on lack of traces of corrosion. In the presence of corrosion wash out it water with two-carbonic sodium. Then wash out a basic arm a large amount of water and dry up it.

If replacement of the storage battery is carried out, establish the new battery with the same capacity which recommends manufacturer.

Establish the storage battery so that dredging in the basis of the battery was combined with an opening of a basic arm.

Establish a cross-section clip and fix nuts, however do not draw them in order to avoid damage of the case of the storage battery.

Check reliability of fastening of the storage battery, otherwise service life of the battery it can be reduced.

Connect to the battery at first the positive plug, then negative and fix them, having tightened nuts of fastening the moment of 5 N · m.
