PREVENTION Cars are equipped with the systems of safety (SRS) including safety cushions and natyazhitel of seat belts. Before work about sensors of blow, the dashboard and a steering column disconnect at first negative, and then positive the plug from the storage battery and wait for 2 minutes. It will exclude unauthorized disclosure of safety cushions and operation of natyazhitel of seat belts which can put injuries.

Check of a sound signal make as follows.

Check integrity of safety locks in an electric chain of a sound signal.

Disconnect the electric socket from a sound signal.

Additional wires submit tension from the storage battery to a sound signal. If the signal does not work, replace it.

If the sound signal works, check tension in the electric socket by pressing of the button of inclusion of a sound signal. If tension on the socket is present, check connection of a sound signal with "weight".

In the absence of tension on the electric socket check the relay of a sound signal.

If the relay is serviceable, check a chain of giving of tension to contacts of the relay and a chain of management of the relay. In the absence of tension on the relay check an electric chain between the relay and the block of safety locks.

If tension moves to the relay, press the button of a sound signal and check an electric chain between the relay and the button. If the electric chain is serviceable, replace the button of inclusion of a sound signal.

Replacement of a sound signal make as follows.

Remove a front bumper.

Disconnect the electric socket, turn out a bolt and remove a sound signal (fig. 15.52) .

Installation of a sound signal make in sequence, return to removal.
