Toyota RAV4>> The monitoring system and decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases>> Sensors and valves of system of injection of fuel (EFI)>> Replacement of the sensor of absolute pressure of air in an inlet collector on models since 2001
The sensor of absolute pressure of air in an inlet collector measures pressure of air in an inlet collector which fluctuates depending on loading of the engine and speed of the car and transforms information to target tension. Target tension changes from 1,9 to 2,1 In at closed throttle to a zaslonka (high vacuum) and from 0,3 to 0,5 In at an open butterfly valve (low vacuum). On the basis of this tension of PCM operates supply of fuel and installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition. The sensor is fixed on an arm established on a partition of a motor compartment.
Replacement of the sensor of absolute pressure in an inlet collector on models since 2001 make as follows:
– switch off ignition and disconnect a "weight" wire from the storage battery;
– disconnect the electric socket and a vacuum hose from the sensor;

Fig. 7.8. The sensor of absolute pressure in an inlet collector: 1–vacuum hose; 2–the sensor of absolute pressure in an inlet collector; 3–clip of fastening of a wire of the sensor; 4–electric socket

– turn out a bolt and remove the sensor of absolute pressure together with an arm from a partition of a motor compartment (fig. 7.8) .
Installation carry out to sequences, return to removal.
