Replacement of a ring can be made in two ways. At removal by the first way make the following:

– remove a transmission;

– remove a drive flywheel/plate;

– replacement of a sealing ring can be carried out, without removing the oil pallet and a back cover of the block of cylinders (fig. 3.46) . However it is not recommended to use this method as a working edge of a sealing ring very rigid and its damage to installation process is possible. An edge of a screw-driver take an old sealing ring from a nest. Clear a nest of a sealing ring and a neck of a cranked shaft. Grease with engine oil a working edge of a new sealing ring and a neck of a cranked shaft and, pressing, establish a sealing ring. This work is necessary for carrying out very carefully as it is easy to damage a working edge of a sealing ring.

The second — the main — the way of replacement of a sealing ring demands removal of the oil pallet and a back cover of the block of cylinders. For ring replacement on the second method make the following:

– remove the oil pallet. Turn out bolts and remove a back cover of the block of cylinders. A firm plastic or wooden scraper clear of the remains of old laying privalochny surfaces of a back cover and the block of cylinders;

– establish a back cover on two wooden whetstones, a hammer and a screw-driver beat out a sealing ring (fig. 3.47) ;

– establish in a back cover a new sealing ring for what use flat wooden whetstone or a tubular opravka, with external diameter a little smaller external diameter of a ring;

– grease with engine oil a working edge of a new sealing ring and a neck of a cranked shaft. Establish new laying on the block of cylinders;

– slowly and carefully establish a back cover with a sealing ring on a cranked shaft, to its prileganiye to the block of cylinders. Fix a cover bolts, having tightened them the moment of 13 N • m. Be convinced that the bottom plane of a cover does not support a privalochny surface of the block of cylinders on which the oil pallet is established.

Further installation carry out to sequences, return to removal.
