PREVENTIONS Cars are equipped with systems of safety (SRS) including safety cushions and natyazhitel of seat belts. Before work about sensors of blow, the dashboard and a steering column disconnect at first negative, and then positive the plug from the storage battery and wait for 2 minutes. It will exclude unauthorized disclosure of safety cushions and operation of natyazhitel of seat belts which can cause traumas. Do not allow hit of cooling liquid on clothes and a paint and varnish covering of a body. Otherwise wash out a surface a large amount of water. Collect and utilize the merged cooling liquid. Central air of air is under pressure therefore do not open central air contour, the coolant is not pumped out yet. Replacement of a radiator of a heater make, when the engine completely will cool down.

NOTE Replacement of a radiator of a heater on release cars since 2001 — very labor-consuming operation for independent performance as demands removal of the dashboard and the central console and is connected with separation of a large number of electric sockets.

Removal of a radiator of a heater

Removal on all models. If the car is equipped with air central air, pump out a coolant from central air contour at service station.

Turn the handle of management of the air temperature submitted to salon of the car, in the situation HOT (hot).

Merge cooling liquid.

Switch off ignition and disconnect a "weight" wire from the storage battery.

In a motor compartment weaken collars and disconnect hoses of supply of cooling liquid to a heater radiator from pipes on a partition of a motor compartment (fig. 4.24) .

Remove sealing rings from the tubes passing through a partition of a motor compartment to a radiator of a heater.

Disconnect central air pipelines from the evaporator and remove sealing rings. Close the ends of pipelines plastic jams to exclude moisture hit in them from air.

On release cars till 2001. Remove a ware box from the dashboard. Turn out screws and remove an evaporator casing (fig. 4.25) .

Disconnect from the heater block an air line of supply of air to feet of back passengers.

Unscrew 2 nuts and shift to the right the heater block (fig. 4.26) .

Turn out the bolts, fixing the heater pipeline to the top part of the block of a heater, then release a clip and take a heater radiator.

On release cars since 2001. Remove the dashboard and an intensifying beam. Disconnect electric sockets from the engine of the fan and the resistor of the fan and remove the block of the fan of a heater (fig. 4.27) .

Remove an air line of supply of air to feet of back passengers.

Unscrew 2 nuts and remove the block of central air of air.

Release clips and remove the thermoresistor and a plait of wires from the block of central air of air.

Turn out screws and remove the evaporator from the block of central air of air (fig. 4.28) .

Turn out screws and remove a heater radiator from the block of central air of air (fig. 4.29) .

Installation of a radiator of a heater

Installation on cars till 2001. Installation make in sequence, return to removal. Fill in cooling liquid.

Fill with a coolant a contour of central air of air.

Get the engine and check functioning of systems of heating and air conditioning.

Installation on cars since 2001. Installation make in sequence, return to removal, taking into account the following.

Check that the thermoresistor established on an arm, acts on 20 mm (fig. 4.30) .

Fill in cooling liquid.

Fill with a coolant a contour of central air of air.

Get the engine and check functioning of systems of heating and air conditioning.
