PREVENTIONS Replacement of the sensor of the index of temperature of cooling liquid make on the cold engine. Do not allow hit of cooling liquid on clothes and a paint and varnish covering of a body. Otherwise wash out a surface a large amount of water. Collect and utilize the merged cooling liquid.

Sensor replacement on release cars till 2001

Merge cooling liquid.

Disconnect the electric socket from the sensor of the index of temperature of cooling liquid (fig. 4.20) .

Wrench turn out the sensor of the index of temperature of cooling liquid.

Screw the new sensor. Do not put hermetic on a sensor carving as it can break electric contact of the sensor to "mass" of the car.

Connect the electric socket to the sensor.

Fill in cooling liquid.

Get the engine and be convinced of absence of leaks.

Sensor replacement on release cars since 2001

On release cars since 2001 the sensor of the index of temperature of cooling liquid is an integral part of the sensor of temperature of the cooling liquid, used by a control system of the engine, and cannot separately be replaced.
