PREVENTION Cars are equipped with the systems of safety (SRS) including safety cushions and natyazhitel of seat belts. Before work about sensors of blow, the dashboard and a steering column disconnect at first negative, and then positive the plug from the storage battery and wait for 2 minutes. It will exclude unauthorized disclosure of safety cushions and operation of natyazhitel of seat belts which can put injuries.

Removal of the dashboard make as follows:

Switch off ignition and disconnect a "weight" wire from the storage battery.

Remove furnish panels about dashboards and the central console.

Remove a combination of devices.

Disconnect the electric socket from a safety cushion of the forward passenger and on models since 2001 of release, remove a safety cushion.

Remove a radio receiver from the dashboard.

Remove a control panel the conditioner.

Remove the bottom left panel of furnish and the amplifier of the panel. Turn out bolts of fastening of a steering column and reject it down from the dashboard.

Mark and disconnect electric sockets from the dashboard (fig. 14.56) .

On models till 2001 disconnect the main electric sockets from each party of the dashboard and turn out two bolts of fastening of wires of weight in the dashboard center (fig. 14.57) .

Turn out all bolts, screws and nuts of fastening of the dashboard to a car body, then lift the panel and through a door, take from the car (fig. 14.58) . It is a laborious work and to carry out it it is necessary with the assistant. Also, probably, it is required to turn out bolts and to remove the amplifier of the dashboard (fig. 14.59) .

Installation of the dashboard make in sequence, return to removal.
