Correctly adjusted seat belts fix position of the driver and passengers during movement and are an effective remedy of protection against heavy traumas at road accident.
On the car establish seat belts with three-dot fastening.
Regulating the provision of points of fastening of belts of forward seats on height it is possible to achieve the best placement of a humeral branch of a belt.
Adjustment of belts of forward seats on height carry out as follows.
Press a clamp and shift the top support of a belt up or down so that the humeral branch passed through the middle of a shoulder and at all through a throat, then release a clamp.
After adjustment, having pulled a belt, be convinced that the top support of a belt is reliably fixed.

of seat belts and pressure limiters.
At head-on collisions of average or big force pyrotechnic prednatyazhitel instantly press bodies of the driver and the passenger to backs of seats.
The system of pyrotechnic prednatyazhitel of seat belts works only at the included ignition. Limiters of pressure reduce pressure force of seat belts by a body of the driver and the forward passenger in case of collision.
Operation of prednatyazhitel is supervised by the sensor of 4 safety cushions.

PREVENTION
Do not remove and do not repair prednatyazhitel of seat belts, the sensor of safety cushions and electroconducting. Similar actions can cause their sudden operation or put system out of action that can lead to serious traumas.

The system of prednatyazhitel of seat belts includes the control indicator serving for informing of the driver about work of system. This indicator lights up at ignition key turn in the situation "ASS" or "ON" and dies away through 6 pages. It means that prednatyazhitel of forward seat belts work normally. In case of the conditions listed further it is necessary to address as soon as possible in the specialized center for service of Toyota cars.
1. The indicator does not light up at ignition key turn in the situation "ASS" or "ON" and continues to burn.
2. The indicator lights up or starts to blink during movement.
3. If any of forward seat belts is not involved in the inertial coil or cannot be extended owing to malfunction or operation of prednatyazhitel.
4. Damages of prednatyazhitel of forward belts of a bezopasenost or the areas which were near them.
