Remove a cap from a nave or a decorative cap of a wheel. On models till 2001 take шплинт and unscrew a lock-nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave of a forward wheel. On models since 2001 unbend the fillet of a nut bent in a groove of a power shaft.

Face natural a big shoulder (with the extension piece) weaken a nut of fastening of a shaft of a drive of a wheel to a nave.

Weaken nuts of fastening of a forward wheel, then lift a forward part of the car and establish it on support. Remove a wheel.

Remove a support, without disconnecting from it a brake hose. Using a soft wire, suspend a support on a forward rack. Remove a brake disk from a nave.

In the presence of ABS remove the sensor of frequency of rotation of a forward wheel.

Note the mutual provision of the lower part of a rack and a rotary fist that at installation not to break wheel disorder. Also note the provision of heads of bolts because on a part of cars special adjusting bolts were established. Weaken, but do not turn on, nuts of fastening of the lower part of a rack to a rotary fist.

Disconnect steering draft from a rotary fist.

Turn out a bolt and two nuts of fastening of the spherical hinge to the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket (see fig. 12.11 ). Mount separate the spherical hinge from the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket and remove from the car.

Turn out a nut of fastening of a shaft of a drive to a nave of a forward wheel and take a shaft from a nave of a forward wheel. If the shaft is not taken manually from a nave, beat out it a kiyanka. A soft wire suspend the external end of a shaft to a body, do not allow it to hang freely as the internal CV JOINT of a shaft can be thus damaged.

Take шплинт from a pin of the spherical hinge and unscrew a nut of fastening of the spherical hinge to a rotary fist. A stripper squeeze out a pin of the spherical hinge from a rotary fist (fig. 12.15) . If the rotary fist acts in film for replacement of the bearing of a nave, and the spherical hinge is in a good condition, it can be not removed from a rotary fist.

Turn out two nuts and a hammer and a drift beat out two bolts of fastening of the lower part of a rack to a rotary fist (see fig. 12.1 ).

Separate a rotary fist from a rack of a forward suspension bracket.

NOTE For removal of a nave and replacement of the bearing the special equipment and tools, and also skills of work therefore it is recommended to perform this work at service station is necessary. The only thing that it is possible to execute in house conditions — previously to remove a rotary fist with a nave.
