Emphasis block forward wheels to interfere with car moving. Lift a back part of the car and establish it on support. Lower the lever of the parking brake and establish the gear shifting lever in neutral situation.

With paint or marker put combination labels on a flange of the main reverse gear and a driveshaft flange. It is necessary for repeated installation of a shaft in a starting position, for preservation of balancing of a shaft.

Unscrew nuts and bolts of fastening of the back universal hinge of the driveshaft to a flange of the main reverse gear (fig. 10.10) . For access to nuts and bolts turn the driveshaft.

Turn out bolts of fastening of an arm of the basic bearing of the driveshaft to the car bottom (fig. 10.11) .

Take the forward party of the driveshaft from a transmission and take out the driveshaft assembled from under the car.
