Establish the basic bearing and a washer on a forward part of the driveshaft (fig. 10.15) .

Establish a flange on the driveshaft, having combined the labels put before removal, and fix it a new nut with a washer. Clamp the driveshaft in a vice with soft sponges and tighten a nut of fastening of the basic bearing. Hammer and chisel законтрите nut.

Connect forward and back parts of the driveshaft, having combined the labels put before removal, and fix bolts, having tightened them at this stage by hand.

Grease working edges of a sealing cuff of a transmission. Insert a forward part of the driveshaft into a transmission and screw, but do not tighten, bolts of fastening of an arm of the basic bearing of the driveshaft to the car bottom.

Connect the back universal hinge of the driveshaft to a flange of the main reverse gear, having combined the labels put before removal, and tighten nuts and bolts the moment of 74 N • m.

When the assistant presses a brake pedal, tighten bolts of fastening of two parts of the driveshaft.

Adjust position of the basic bearing of the driveshaft.
