Tighten the parking brake and block back wheels an emphasis.

Weaken nuts of fastening of a forward wheel. Lift a forward part of the car and establish it on support. Remove forward wheels.

Disconnect the stabilizer of cross-section stability from drafts of the stabilizer (fig. 12.8, 12.9) . At an otvorachivaniye of nuts of fastening of spherical hinges of draft of the stabilizer hold a six-sided key a pin of the spherical hinge from a provorachivaniye.

On release models till 2001 at removal of the stabilizer of cross-section stability turn on the top nut of fastening of draft of the stabilizer, and at removal of the bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket — the bottom nut.

Turn out bolts of fastening of clips with the plugs, fixing the stabilizer of cross-section stability.

Remove the stabilizer of cross-section stability from the car.

Remove from the stabilizer basic plugs and check their condition.

Check a condition of spherical hinges of drafts of the stabilizer. For this purpose remove them from the car and fix in a vice (fig. 12.10) . Reject against the stop in one and other party a pin of the spherical hinge, then screw a nut on a pin. A Dinamometrichesky key turn a pin of the spherical hinge (one turn for 2–4 c), and on the fifth turn measure a torque of a provorachivaniye which m should be not less than 0,04 N •. Otherwise replace draft of the stabilizer.

Wire brush clear stabilizer zones on which basic plugs are established.
