Remove a shaft of a drive of a wheel.
Through wooden whetstones clamp a drive shaft in a vice.
Check radial люфт the CV JOINT which points to wear of details of the hinge. Check smoothness of a course on a full range of movement for each CV JOINT. If the protective cover was torn, remove the CV JOINT, disassemble, clear and check it on absence of damages because of loss of greasing and possible pollution by extraneous particles.
Small screw-driver release clips, weaken collars of fastening of a protective cover and shift them on a shaft.

Edge of a screw-driver hook and shift external edge of a cover from the internal CV JOINT. If the protective cover is torn, cut off it. Remove internal edge of a cover and shift it from the tripoid type CV JOINT (fig. 10.5) . Tripoid represents the trekhplechy hinge on which each shoulder the roller from the tempered steel is fixed.
With paint or marker mark the mutual provision of a shaft of a drive and трипоида.

The special tool remove the spring lock ring fixing трипоид on a shaft (fig. 10.6) .

Hammer through a brass drift bring down трипоид from a drive shaft, thus be careful not to damage a shlitsa of a shaft and rollers трипоида (fig. 10.7) .
If work is carried out on right driving to a shaft, note an arrangement of the balance weight and remove it. For balance weight removal, probably, it is necessary to use a press.
