Check and removal of the traction relay of a starter make as follows:

Remove a starter (see above).

Using additional wires of big section, connect the starter case to the negative plug of the accumulator, and the positive plug of the accumulator connect to the plug 50. If thus the driving gear wheel of a starter moves forward, but the engine of a starter does not rotate, means, is faulty or the electric motor of a starter or contacts of the traction relay scorched.

If the gear wheel of a starter does not move forward, means, the traction relay failed and it is necessary to replace it.

Unscrew a nut and disconnect a wire going from the electric motor of a starter to the bottom contact of the traction relay.

Unscrew screws and remove the traction relay from a starter.
