Emphasis block forward wheels to interfere with car moving. Lift a back part of the car and establish it on support. Lower the lever of the parking brake and establish the gear shifting lever in neutral situation.

Merge oil from a differential case.

With paint or marker put combination labels on a flange of differential and a flange of the internal CV JOINT of a shaft of a drive.

Turn out 4 nuts, separate internal CV JOINTS of shaft of a drive from flanges of differential and a soft wire fix them on a body (see fig. 10.4 )

PREVENTION Do not allow shaft to hang on external CV JOINTS.

With paint or marker put combination labels on a flange of the main reverse gear and a driveshaft flange. It is necessary for repeated installation of a shaft in a starting position for preservation of balancing of a shaft.

Turn out nuts and bolts of fastening of the back universal hinge of the driveshaft to a flange of the main reverse gear (see fig. 10.10 ). For access to nuts and bolts turn the driveshaft. A soft wire fix a back part of the driveshaft, do not allow it to hang on the basic bearing.

Support differential a transmission jack and turn out two bolts of the top fastening of an arm in a back part of differential (fig. 10.17) . Turn out two bolts of fastening of a forward part of differential (fig. 10.18) . Slowly lower and take differential from under the car.
