Removal

Emphasis block forward wheels to interfere with car moving. Lift a back part of the car and establish it on support. Lower the lever of the parking brake and establish the gear shifting lever in neutral situation.

With paint or marker put combination labels on a flange of differential and a flange of the internal CV JOINT of a shaft of a drive.

Turn out 4 nuts and separate the internal CV JOINT of a shaft of a drive from a differential flange (see fig. 10.4 ).

In blow of a brass hammer on the mount established between an internal flange and a case of differential, take a drive shaft from a differential case.

Edge of a flat screw-driver take a sealing cuff. At extraction do not scratch a groove for cuff installation.

Installation

Clear a groove for cuff installation. Grease an external surface and a working edge of a cuff with oil.

Tubular opravka with external diameter, a little smaller, than external diameter of a cuff, establish a sealing cuff in a groove. Check that the cuff is established without a distortion and on the same depth, as earlier.

Establish a differential flange, thus be careful not to damage a working edge of a sealing cuff.

Check oil level in reverse main gear, if necessary add it.

Replacement of cuffs on differential

with two satellites

If on the car the differential with two satellites is established, remove differential from the car.

Turn out bolts and uncover a differential case.

Passatizhami remove a lock ring of fastening of a semi-axial gear wheel of differential and remove a shaft with a flange (fig. 10.16) .

Clear privalochny surfaces of a cover and a differential case of the hermetic remains. Apply a thin film RTV hermetic on a privalochny surface of a case of differential, establish a cover and fix it bolts.

Further installation make in sequence, return to removal.
