Emphasis block forward wheels to interfere with car moving. Lift a back part of the car and establish it on support. Lower the lever of the parking brake and establish the gear shifting lever in neutral situation.

Turn out nuts and bolts of fastening of the back universal hinge of the driveshaft to a flange of the main reverse gear (see fig. 10.10 ). For access to nuts and bolts turn the driveshaft. A soft wire fix a back part of the driveshaft, do not allow it to hang on the basic bearing.

Hammer and chisel beat out a nut fillet from a groove of a shaft of a flange of the main reverse gear.

The special tool fix from a provorachivaniye a flange of the main reverse gear and turn out a nut of its fastening.

Remove a flange. If it is not taken manually, use a stripper with two captures.

Edge of a flat screw-driver take a cuff. At extraction do not scratch a groove for cuff installation.

Installation

Clear a groove for cuff installation. Grease an external surface and a working edge of a cuff with oil.

Tubular opravka with external diameter, a little smaller, than external diameter of a cuff, establish a sealing cuff in a groove. Check that the cuff is established without a distortion and on the same depth, as earlier.

Establish a flange of the main reverse gear and fix it a nut, having tightened it the initial moment of 108 N • m.

By Dinamometrichesky key measure a preliminary torque of a provorachivaniye of a flange of the main reverse gear. If a torque less than 0,6-0,8 N • m, tighten a nut, each time increasing the inhaling moment by 12 N • m, but the final moment of an inhaling should not exceed 235 N • m. If the moment of an inhaling of a nut reached 235 N • m, and a torque of a provorachivaniye of a flange of the main reverse gear will not reach, replace the rasporny plug of the bearing in the main reverse gear.

After achievement of the demanded moment of a provorachivaniye of a flange by a hammer and a chisel hammer a nut fillet into a groove of a shaft of the main reverse gear.

Connect the back universal hinge of the driveshaft to a flange of the main reverse gear, having combined the labels put before removal, and tighten nuts and bolts the moment of 74 N • m.

Check oil level in reverse main gear, if necessary add it.
